Senda Solitaria por Mery Larrinua
Senda solitaria
Buscando en cada grano de arena
del camino largo y espeso
solo encontré un pájaro herido
con el mismo sable que atravesó
mi cuerpo.
Oí el lamento de su quejido
manteniendo el brote de su sangre
esparcida por sus alas
sin poder contenerla por más
tiempo.
Sus ojos entendieron los míos
porque su dolor era mi dolor
y es que mis alas también
cargadas
solo hallaron la senda solitaria,
era un duelo…un
duelo de amor.

I was the contempt of his soul
when love decided to grow
pulling hard from my chest
My depressed heart I could not stop.
For the narrow way you dragged it
without mercy, with fury the silence fell
at your feet in an unshakable plea
with the cry that is offered without reason.
And what my surprise
when I rose to his eyes
in front of my two tears shed
the words that were choking anxious
freely the air dispersed.
